I N S P I R A T I O N //
The artwork was created to the music of Thievery Corporation. My goal for this abstract artwork was simple. I wanted to challenge myself to see the various dimensions I could create using a limited color palette. I chose to use black and white acrylic paint on paper with metallic gold ink and gold leaf foil as accents. I wanted to see each individual brushstroke, splatter, and drop of paint, so I used small and large brushstrokes with no intention of blending, just a mindfulness to balance.
