“Sun Rays Like Stilts” is a personal and intimate piece, created during a very special time in my life. This triptych consists of three canvases, each measuring 12”(H) x 12”(W), and is made with acrylic, oil, and genuine 24k gold leaf. With this artwork, I wanted to capture the calmness I experienced during quiet moments with my newborn daughter. The contrasting black and white represents the duality of my world—navigating the anxieties of new motherhood while cherishing the peaceful, serene moments with her. The gold leaf symbolizes me and my heart, which I poured into this journey.
